Your business
My main research has focused on the systems and synthetic biology of microorganisms, in particular on the understanding of microbial transcriptional and translational regulatory networks at a genome-scale. Currently, we are trying to understand the probiotic traits of microbiome related with aging process by using high-throughput sequencing technologies and engineer them for better functions.

My main business is providing regulatory consulting service to the ChemLinked cosmetic site. Chemlinked is a global based online regulatory intelligence website and it shares Asia pacific news, expert’s insights, regulatory database and search tools, and consulting services to our members. We help clients monitoring the news update and research the regulatory solution to expedite markets access. I have worked in this consulting service for more than five years and helped many brands entering China or Asia markets successfully.
Something people may not know about you
Just become a new father and have a sweet baby girl. I used to be a traveler and visited lots of place to see the wonder with my own eyes. But now, my most energy is dedicated to help my wife to rise the child. It is quite busy and lack of sleep, but it worth it. Because I see the most beautiful wonder just in front of my eyes every day now.

Your business
My current role in Unilever is to generate scientific insights and develop technologies that maintain, balance and under conditions of dysbiosis, rebalance the human microbiome through topically applied products. In this role, I also engage and forge global collaborations with leading academic scientists, SMEs and suppliers to help in understanding and alleviating conditions such as acne, atopic dermatitis, gingivitis etc. Till date we have launched several products globally under brands that span Unilever’s skin, oral and deodarants businesses.
Something people may not know about you
I am blessed with a wonderful family of my wife and 10 year old daughter. We are all fond of travelling across the globe, seeing places, meeting people and trying their cuisine. I myself is also an avid football lover with passionate supporter of FC Barcelona!
